Last night i decided it was high time to take a break from being a cog in the capitalist machine, so i blackmailed Stef with dinner at Serge's in Pomona-
(superb as always)

Yes, my hometown (well Kin Kin is my hometown but Pomona sort of is too) was playing host to the one and only Mr Barry Morgan from Adelaide, or as he described it "the city of churches and shallow graves". As you might guess, it was not a show for the easily offended, but it was hilarious right from the get go. And not to forget, when he does get down to playing his 1973 Aurora Classic, it's clear he is incredibly good at it.
The place was very busy, though not full (to my very great surprise), and everyone there got right into it, which is always fun. (That's what she said).
The only downside was getting out of the theatre at about 10:30, with work the next morning, but apparently that's the price one must pay to be a cultured gentleman.
